Currently, Dr. Akkaranan is the director of the Master’s Degree Program in Smart Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Graduate School of Applied Statistics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). He has academic expertise in various fields including Multi-attribute decision making and its applications, information fusion, Intelligent monitoring and advanced manufacturing, supply chain management, innovation process, and knowledge management.

Dr. Akkaranan completed his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Petrochemicals and Polymer Materials, Silpakorn University, Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Ph.D. in Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, and Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University.
