This course will give you a clear understanding of AI which will help you use it more effectively in various ways. As a result, you'll experience ongoing growth and meaningful changes in our business.

AI is transforming technology in ways that significantly impact our lives and businesses today. It helps us analyze investment data, understand customer insights for marketing and sales, plan production and delivery schedules, predict diseases, and create useful applications for everyday use. It's clear that AI is now a crucial part of almost every industry. That's why learning the basics is so important. It prepares us for more advanced topics like Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics.

Prerequisites:
- This course is designed for everyone. No prior knowledge is required.

Course type:
This is a core course (C) in the Master of Engineering program in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (International Program) offered by Thammasat University and SkillLane.

Grading Criteria:
This course consists of 1) Quizzes, which account for 30% of the grade, 2) Final Exam, which accounts for 70% of the grade, Grades will be assigned based on the following scheme:

A 90-100
A- 85-89.99
B+ 80-84.99
B 75-79.99
B- 70-74.99
C+ 65-69.99
C 60-64.99
D 50-59.99
F 0-49.99

Currently, Dr. Warut holds a teaching position at School of Manufacturing System and Mechanical Engineering of the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University. He has academic expertise in various fields including Artificial intelligence in industrial applications, Time series forecasting, Computer vision for industry, Data mining, Machine learning, Production planning and optimization, Discrete-event systems simulation, Vehicle routing and scheduling, Logistics and supply chain management.

Dr. Warut completed his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (1st Class Honors) from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Systems Engineering from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University and PhD in Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan.
