This is where Advanced Robotics Controls comes in. It allows robots to possess the intelligence to react, adjust, and excel in real-world applications. When most people think of robots, they imagine them working in factories or assisting in surgeries. However, robotics control is reaching far beyond. It now uses advanced techniques in areas like self-driving cars, space exploration, and personalized healthcare. As the demand for accurate and flexible systems continues to grow, mastering advanced controls becomes crucial for expanding what robots can do.

This course is designed for everyone. No prior knowledge is required.
Course type:
This is a elective course (E) in the Master of Engineering program in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (International Program) offered by Thammasat University and SkillLane.
Grading Criteria:
This course consists of 1) Quizzes, which account for 40% of the grade, and 2) Final Exam, which accounts for 60% of the grade. Grades will be assigned based on the following scheme:
A 90-100
A- 85-89.99
B+ 80-84.99
B 75-79.99
B- 70-74.99
C+ 65-69.99
C 60-64.99
D 50-59.99
F 0-49.99
Instructor Background:
Dr. Sumeth Yuenyong
Currently, Dr. Sumeth is the director of Computer Engineering (Undergraduate Program), Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. He has academic expertise in various fields including Deep Learning and Signal Processing.
Dr. Sumeth completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Master’s degree in Communication and Integrated Systems, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology of Embedded Systems, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University and Ph.D. in Communication and Integrated Systems, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
